We ensure the purity of our gold through a strict quality assurance process. All of our gold products are newly manufactured. Upon receipt of each new shipment, we conduct non-destructive testing on a sample of the items using an advanced Mizar ET-18 Gold Karat Tester. We have also used X-ray fluorescence (XRF) to analyze our shipments, consistently confirming that our 18k gold products are over 76% pure gold.
A karat is a unit used to measure the purity of gold. The higher the karat number, the higher the percentage of pure gold in the jewelry.
24K gold is 99.9% pure, but this high purity also makes it extremely soft and malleable. It’s simply too fragile for everyday wear and is prone to bending, scratching, and losing its shape. To create durable, long-lasting jewelry, pure gold must be mixed with stronger metals like copper, silver, or zinc. These alloys make the gold more resistant to damage while maintaining its beauty.
